22: Closing Prayers — Rev Alastair Cutting (@alcutting)

With those gathered here, across the globe, and throughout eternity, let us join our prayers to God with theirs:
Lord God, your son Jesus was born of Mary; renew your church in the body of Christ.
There was no room for the Holy Family in the inn; protect those who have no home this night.
As Mary felt the pangs of childbirth; hold safe all who are in pain, or feel dis-ease. For those who fear all that the darkness can bring; may the Christ–light dispel all gloom.
As heaven comes down to earth, and earth reaches up to heaven; hold safe in your hands all those who have died in the hope of Christ’s glory.
To you Lord Jesus, strong in your weakness, glorious in humility, mighty to save, be all praise and glory, now and forever, Amen.
